Winter Photoshoot

A view over Meltham and the South Pennines

A view over Meltham and the South Pennines

I’ve not been out with my camera for a few months now (a bit of a fine weather photographer these days) so I thought since the weather was bright and sunny I would venture out onto the moors above my hometown of Holmfirth, knowing there was still a lot of the white stuff up there I prepared and dressed appropriately, or so I thought, It was absolutely unbearably cold with a wind chill factor of about −8°c and the wind was relentless. I must say I really enjoyed the experience and captured what I think are some great images, all of which were captured today Sunday 8 February 2015 the one at the top image shows great contrast and a totally unexpected scene when shown with the other four. How mother nature can deceive our senses and perceptions.

HOPE YOU ALL LIKE THEM.
